TVS Ntorq 150: Launching on September 1, the new scooter will come with a powerful engine!

TVS Ntorq 150 coming 1 September 2025: TVS Motor is preparing to launch its new Ntorq scooter. It will now come in a sporty look with a larger size. Also, it will give a new dimension to the scooter segment. It is believed that the company can name it Ntorq 150. This new model will be launched on September 1, 2025. In the Indian market, it will compete with Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SR175 and upcoming Hero Zoom 160.

TVS Ntorq 150 Design and Look

The Ntorq series has always been characterised by its aggressive and youthful design. The Ntorq 150 is expected to continue this trend, but with some upgrades. The teaser image shows that the front will have a quad-projector LED headlamp setup, with two units for low beam and two for high beam. These headlamps are mounted on the front apron and not on the handlebar, which gives it a more sporty look. In the middle is a T-shaped DRL, which is TVS’ signature style – as seen on the Ronin motorcycle.

The front apron will be angular and sharp, like the Ntorq 125, but the body may look a little more muscular due to the bigger engine. The graphics and badging on the side panels will be sporty, like racing stripes or carbon fibre accents. At the rear, there will be an LED taillight and integrated grab rails.

There is no official information about the colours yet, but options like matte black, racing red, marine blue and Nardo grey are expected like the Ntorq 125. Overall, this scooter is going to be an attention grabber on the street, especially for young riders who prefer style. It is expected to weigh around 120-125 kg, which will make it easy to handle.

TFT instrument cluster will also be available

The Ntorq 150 will be powered by a powerful 150cc engine, which generates around 12 bhp of power and 13 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a CVT gearbox. It may also get 14-inch alloy wheels on both sides, which will be a first for a TVS scooter. This will promise more stability and better rough-road performance. It is also expected to feature a rear disc brake and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster from the Raider 125.

TVS Ntorq 150

Will strengthen its hold in the sports segment

Launched in 2018, the current Ntorq 125 has dominated India’s sporty 125cc scooter segment for the last 7 years with several updates and special editions like the Marvel-inspired Super Squad variant. The new Ntorq 150 aims to carry forward that legacy, just with more power, bigger wheels and bolder styling. It is believed that its deliveries will also start soon after its launch.

TVS Ntorq 150 Engine and Performance

The biggest highlight of the Ntorq 150 is its engine. It will be equipped with a 150 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which will be BS6 Phase 2B compliant. According to the specifications, it will generate around 12 bhp power and 13 Nm torque, which is much higher than the Ntorq 125 (9.5 PS, 10.5 Nm). The engine will come with a CVT gearbox, which will give smooth acceleration. The exhaust note shown in the teaser is deep and bassy, which indicates sporty performance.

Talking about performance, this scooter can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 7-8 seconds, which is ideal for overtaking in city traffic. The top speed can go up to 100-110 kmph. Regarding mileage, expect 45-48 kmpl, which is good in this segment. TVS has re-tuned the engine to make it more responsive but also fuel efficient. It will be stable on the highway, while its pick-up will impress in the city. If you are upgrading from the Ntorq 125, this will give you more thrills.

Ride and Handling

The ride quality of the Ntorq 150 is expected to be excellent. It will be equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels, a first for TVS scooters. This will increase stability, especially on rough roads. The suspension setup will consist of front telescopic forks and rear monoshock, which will absorb bumps well.

In terms of handling, its low weight and wide tyres (front 100/80-14, rear 110/80-14) will make cornering easy. It will be agile in the city, while confident on the highway. The seat will be comfortable and spacious, even for the pillion. The braking system will have front and rear disc brakes, which will provide quick stopping.
