Features like call and music control, push navigation, auto reply SMS are also given in it.
Design and Practicality
The design of the Ather Rizta is a great blend of traditional and modern elements. Its design features a boxy and sleek look, which makes it similar to scooters like the TVS iQube, but Ather’s own distinctive style is clearly visible in it. The scooter features a 900 mm long seat, which is the largest in the segment, providing ample comfort for both the driver and the pillion.
Additionally, the Rizta offers a total storage space of 56 liters (22 liters front and 34 liters boot space), making it extremely practical for families. Whether it’s kids’ school bags or groceries, this scooter can easily carry your everyday stuff. It also has a small pocket where small items like keys or mobile phones can be kept.

The Rizta weighs 119 kg, and its wheelbase of 1,285 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm make it suitable for Indian roads. With its water-wading capacity of 400 mm, it can be ridden even in the rainy season without any hassle.
Range of Ather Rizta
As far as the range is concerned, it has 2.9 kWh battery and 3.7 kWh battery pack options. The range of the smaller battery pack is 123 km and the range of the larger battery pack is 160 km. The top speed of all variants is 80 km/h. The charging time of the 2.9 kWh battery pack is 6.40 hours. Whereas, the charging time of the 3.7 kWh battery pack is only 4.30 hours.

Performance and Riding Experience
The Ather Rizta is powered by an electric motor that produces 5.76 bhp of power and 22 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.7 seconds. It has a top speed of 80 kmph, which is good enough for urban and suburban use.
The scooter has two riding modes: Zip and SmartEco. In the Zip mode, the scooter utilizes its full power, offering a fast and exciting riding experience. On the other hand, the SmartEco mode is designed to maximize the range, which is ideal for everyday use.
The Rizta’s suspension setup (telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear) handles potholes and rough roads on Indian roads with ease. However, some reviews have stated that the braking system needs to be better with two riders. The scooter has a combi-braking system with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, which provides stability under normal conditions.
Market Position and Conclusion
The Ather Rizta has made a splash in the Indian market since its launch. According to company reports, it has crossed the 1 lakh units sales mark in less than a year, which shows its popularity. This scooter is ideal for those who want a reliable, technology-packed and family-friendly electric scooter. rosa
